Announcement and Call for Short Presentations
Atmospheric scientists, representatives of funding agencies, and
post-graduate students with an interest in MAP are invited to participate
in the MAP-Meeting 1995. The Meeting will take place from 29 June, 9:00
until 30 June 1995, 14:00 in Bad Tölz, a picturesque spa-town south of
Munich in the foothills of the Alps. The venue is the 'Posthotel
Kolberbräu' adjacent to the historic market-place. The purpose of the
Meeting is to provide an informal forum to discuss the current state of
MAP, to present the first results of related research activities, and to
advance decisions concerning further steps (e.g the field phase).
Abstracts (max. one page) of short presentations or poster displays should
be sent to Hans Volkert. The strict deadline for receipt is FRIDAY, 12 MAY
1995. The programme for the Meeting will be distributed by the end of May.

Venue and Accommodation
The MAP-Meeting 1995 will be held in the conference room of 'Posthotel
Kolberbräu', Marktstrasse 29, D-83646 Bad Tölz; Tel.
+49-8041-76880. Accommodation is available in the hotel itself orin the
neighbouring hotel 'Kolbergarten'. Bookings for either house should be
made as soon as possible, but not later than April 28, 1995 directly

A number of twin rooms with 2 single beds, shower and WC is also available at DM 60 per person per night (breakfast included).
For the evening of 29 June, an informal conference dinner(orders à la carte) is planned. A small conference fee (DM 20) will be charged to cover the costs of beverages during session breaks, as well as handout material.
