Concerning access to data in the MAP Database please read the MAP Data Access Policy

For access to data in the MAP Database please read the MAP Data Access Policy. "Required" and "Supplemental" data sets are marked accordingly in the MAP Database Contents Table, and can be summarized as follows:

all SOP and GOP data are in the category required;

6-hourly SYNOP and 12-hourly TEMP data of the MAP seasons and episodes are required;

highest available time and space resolution for MAP seasons and episodes are supplemental.

Access to supplemental data is granted by way of an account which can be requested by this pre-agreement form. If you access supplemental data, required data will be automtically included.
